A DIY spring wreath made with sage greenery, white berries, and blush flowers brings a soft, romantic touch to an entryway. This project uses artificial stems arranged on a wire frame, so the finished wreath can be displayed season after season. With a few basic floral tools and a little time, you can customize the placement of the greenery and flowers to suit your door or home.

DIY Spring Wreath Supplies
The materials below were used to create a wreath on a 24-inch wire form. Choose artificial stems with flexible wire inside if you want to adjust their shape as you work.
- 24-inch wire wreath form
- Floral wire
- Floral tape
- Floral cutters
- Artificial lamb’s ear stem
- Artificial lamb’s ear bush
- Artificial white berry bush
- Artificial peony stem
- Artificial dahlia stem
- Artificial ranunculus stem
- Artificial garden rose bush
Before cutting anything, lay the stems beside the wreath form and plan where the main flowers will sit. This helps you spread the color around the frame and avoid using all the larger blooms in one area. Floral cutters are useful for trimming wired stems; keep fingers clear of the cutting edge.

How to Make a Sage and Blush DIY Spring Wreath
1. Arrange the lamb’s ear greenery
Separate the lamb’s ear into individual stems with floral cutters. Place them around the wire frame, spacing them as evenly as possible. Once you are happy with the arrangement, secure each stem to the frame with floral wire. Floral tape can help tidy and hold the wrapped sections in place.
Check the wreath from the front as you work. Turning the frame a little at a time makes it easier to spot gaps and keep the greenery balanced.

2. Add the white berries
Snip the white berry bush into smaller individual stems. Tuck them between the lamb’s ear pieces, then fasten them to the frame with floral wire and tape. The berries add small light-colored details between the larger leaves, so distribute them around the wreath rather than clustering them all together.

3. Position and attach the blush flowers
Arrange the peonies, dahlias, ranunculus, and garden roses on the wreath before securing them. Move the blooms until the color and spacing look pleasing from the front. Thread their stems through the wire form and twist or wrap floral wire around the stems on the back to hold them firmly.
When attaching flowers, make sure the wire ends are tucked toward the frame and do not protrude where they could scratch a door or catch on clothing. If a stem is too long, trim it carefully after checking how much is needed to secure the flower.

Finishing and Hanging the Wreath
Once all the stems are attached, lift the wreath and gently check for loose pieces. Adjust any leaves or petals that are pressed under the frame, then turn the wreath around to inspect the back. The assembly can take under an hour, depending on how many stems need trimming and arranging.
Hang the finished wreath on a front door or another suitable indoor display spot. If it will be placed outdoors, consider how much direct sun and weather exposure it will receive; artificial materials can fade or wear over time, so follow any care guidance provided with the stems.

The combination of sage-toned lamb’s ear, white berries, and blush flowers creates a gentle spring palette. Because the stems are attached individually, you can rearrange or replace a bloom later if you want to refresh the look.

For a polished seasonal display, pair the wreath with a swept porch and a clear area around the door. A simple background lets the muted greenery and pink flowers remain the focal point.
